James Sturm, author of The Golem's Mighty Swing, is writing this week's diary over at Slate. He started the Center for Comic Studies in White River Jct and is going to be teaching there. In Monday's entry, he has a quote from the lovely Kim Souza.
It's kind of surreal for me, reading about WRJ in Slate or the Boston Globe. I used to wish that South Main St would be bombed off the face of the earth, but it's not so bad after all, I guess. Of course, it'll probably be better now that the nudie bar, adult bookstore and adult clothing shop have gone away (and by "gone away", I mean "burned to the ground").
