[travel] DC

Was only in DC for a few days before coming home on an earlier flight. One afternoon we did walk around downtown a bit. I had never seen the White House before. It was a gorgeous day, warm with little flowers and bulbs poking up through the ground already. Here's the back of the White House:

The front:

It's not in the picture, but off to the left is Michelle's garden (which a gardener was busy tending) and a little bee box/house/thing. They're making their own honey?! Awesome!

Opposite the White House was the Washington Monument:

It was nice, but I'm glad to be back in Vermont.
