Resident garter snake. I have another living in the backyard rock wall. Maybe it will keep the woodchuck away. I actually don't mind the snakes- they startle me because they react to my proximity before I see them- but then there's a "I'll leave you alone if you leave me alone" type of understanding.
Looks like the weather will improve for the rest of the week- so it's back outside to finish weeding the vegetable garden.
