It's going to be a loooooooong, textured scarf that looks like an alligator. The ridges along the back are done pretty cleverly and the tonal yarn I'm using is adding a nice depth of color.

I knitted this scarf and my grandchild absolutely loves it. The picture is on my Ravelry page. I like it so much that I want to knit another one for another child.

I think this is going to be for me. I knitting friend made one and I tried it on- I couldn't stop petting it like I was wearing an expensive fur stole or something.
